A Visit to GiGi's Playhouse

Additional Information

Transit staff, in collaboration with the Specialized Recreation and Inclusion Program Supervisor, recently visited GiGi’s Playhouse to share valuable information with patrons and their families. The visit aimed to help families make the most of their time at GiGi’s by using GoCary’s fare-free transit service to access the center and reach key destinations throughout Cary—such as local parks, the Cary Senior Center, and other important community resources.

For us, being out in the community and providing transit education is a top priority. We want everyone to feel informed and empowered to take advantage of their transit options. These outreach efforts also highlight how Town departments work together to better serve our community—ensuring that residents of all abilities have access to inclusive programs, services, and events.

During the visit, staff also had the opportunity to promote upcoming Parks and Recreation programs, including the highly anticipated Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival taking place in just a few weeks.
