Transit Training for Cary Chinese Club

Additional Information

Chinese Club Presentation

GoCary recently had the pleasure of providing a specialized transit training session at the Cary Senior for members of the Cary Chinese Club. The training was engaging and accessible for our Mandarin-speaking community, thanks to the invaluable support of translator and club manager, Evian.

During the session, participants learned about GoCary’s many routes and stops that connect them to key places of interest in Cary. Highlights included how to access recent community events, such as the Taste of China Festival, using Routes 5, 6, and the Downtown Loop. Looking ahead, Route 6 will provide convenient transit to the new Grand Asian Market, making shopping and community engagement easier than ever.

Participants also explored how GoCary routes link with other regional transit agencies, expanding travel options across Wake County. The session emphasized the convenience, flexibility, and accessibility of public transit, empowering community members to travel more confidently throughout the area.

GoCary is committed to ensuring that all members of the community, including our diverse language communities, have the knowledge and resources to take full advantage of fare-free transit and stay connected to Cary’s vibrant events, shopping, and cultural offerings.
