GoCary staff recently visited residents near Chatham Street and Maynard Road, an area served by Route 1 – Crossroads. During the visit, staff shared information about the GoCary network, highlighting how Route 1 connects residents to shopping centers, places of employment, fun destinations such as parks, greenways, and even movie theaters, as well as to other GoCary routes at the Cary Depot.
Staff also explained how Route 1 links with regional transit partners, making it easier for riders to travel beyond Cary. Community members had the chance to ask questions, see firsthand how accessible and free of charge transit is for riders, and receive assistance with downloading and using the GoCary app. The visit helped residents better understand how local and regional transit can support their daily needs and enhance their mobility.
