Experience Holiday Magic on GoCary's Downtown Loop
GoCary invites everyone to make the most of this holiday season by exploring the lights, sights, and celebrations of downtown Cary — all while riding fare-free! Downtown Cary is especially vibrant this time of year thanks to the Heart of the Holidays celebration, which features twinkling lights, family-friendly activities, festive competitions, and memorable seasonal experiences.
The GoCary Downtown Loop is adding a special "light-seeing" service on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, beginning Tuesday, December 2, and continuing through Tuesday, December 23. This free service is open to the public with no reservations required. Just hop on at any of the 13 Downtown Loop stops throughout downtown Cary to experience the holiday lights, decorations, and seasonal activities.
The Downtown Loop will follow its regular route, running continuously from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Free parking is available at Town Hall, with a bus stop conveniently located just outside of the parking deck. Riders can look forward to a bus decorated for the season with festive music and fun holiday-themed giveaways.
If you aren't able to join us on a Tuesday night, the Downtown Loop will also continue to operate on its regular schedule, Thursday-Sunday, during this time.
