GoCary Major Service Changes (Cambios Importantes en el Servicio de GoCary)
The Town of Cary is soliciting public feedback for proposed major service changes to the GoCary system. A public information meeting will be held on March 6, 2024 at the Cary Regional Library from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. This location is served by GoCary Route 5 and Route 6.
The proposed changes are detailed below:
Route 11
This is a new route providing service between the Cary Depot, North Carolina State University, and the North Carolina State Fairgrounds with a schedule consistent with existing GoCary services.
Route 12
The ACX is converted from an express to a local route, operating along the same alignment and serving new bus stops with a schedule consistent with existing GoCary services.
Downtown Circulator
A new Downtown Circulator route will provide service between Cary Town Hall, the Downtown Park and other Downtown Cary destinations along Chatham Street. The schedule for this service is still in development.

Comments will be accepted through March 27, 2024 at 5:00 PM.
All persons interested in these proposed changes are also invited to attend a Public Hearing on the proposed changes, currently scheduled for the regular meeting of the Town Council to be held in the Council Chambers on March 28, 2024, at 6:30 PM, 316 North Academy Street, Cary, NC 27513. At that time the Council will consider the proposed changes and public comments received.
