Door to Door Study

Project Background
GoCary Door to Door (D2D) is a paratransit service for individuals whose disabilities prevent them from using fixed route bus service and for Cary residents age 60 or older.

As demand continues to grow, GoCary has launched the Door to Door Study to evaluate the program today and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, maintain longevity, and remain responsive to community needs. The study will review the program’s current structure, costs, and operations alongside continued investments in GoCary’s bus service.

Take the Survey – Now Open!
Community input will play a central role in shaping the path forward. As a first step, GoCary invites current and potential Door to Door riders to share their experiences and priorities in a survey — online at the link below or on paper in D2D vehicles until October 22, 2026. Your feedback will help guide program recommendations and ensure community priorities are reflected in the planning process.

Join us In Person
There will be an in-person public meeting on Monday, October 12 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cary Senior Center (120 Maury O’Dell Place, Cary, NC 27513). Community members may stop by anytime during the window to ask questions and share feedback on the Door to Door program.
