The first phase of public engagement for the 2035 Wake Bus Plan is now underway, and we need your feedback to help shape the future of public transportation in Wake County.
Whether you ride the bus every day, occasionally, or have never used transit before, your input matters. We want to hear about your travel needs, priorities, and ideas for improving bus service throughout our community.
What is the 2035 Wake Bus Plan?
The Wake Bus Plan is a long-term investment strategy that will guide how more than $1 billion in transit funding is invested between 2028 and 2035. The projects selected will help improve and expand Wake County's bus network, making transit more accessible, reliable, and convenient for everyone.
Phase 1: Community Engagement is Open
This first phase is focused on listening to the community. We are gathering feedback from people who live, work, study, and travel throughout Wake County.
The online survey allows participants to:
- Share their transportation needs and travel habits.
- Identify the areas where bus service is needed most.
- Review potential future bus route concepts and provide feedback.
- Learn about upcoming public engagement opportunities.
Potential GoCary Route Concepts
The following concepts are currently being evaluated for future service. These are proposed ideas only and are intended to gather community feedback.
