CHANGES ARE COMING TO GOCARY ROUTES 1, 6 & 8!

Beginning Saturday, October 21st, GoCary is enhancing its bus network to better meet your daily transportation needs:

Route 1

Route 1 will extend its service to include Dillard Drive, connecting Jones Franklin Road and Walnut Street. This expansion provides connectivity to GoTriangle Route 305 and key destinations like the Wake County Public School System offices. Please be aware that schedule adjustments will accompany this change, so be sure to acquire our latest Ride Guide for updated information.

Route 6

In the interest of spacing and driver safety, we are relocating the Donaldson/Patrick timepoint to Buck Jones Road at Nottingham Drive. To understand how this modification may affect your travel plans, refer to our Ride Guide for additional details.

Route 8

Route 8 will now serve the Cary Depot, offering convenient connections to all GoCary routes, as well as GoTriangle Routes 300 and 310. We are also introducing Saturday service on Route 8, enabling you to reach your preferred destinations on weekends.

Please note that Route 8 will no longer serve Park West Village. However, you can still access Park West Village by making a timed transfer from Route 8 to Route 7 at the Cary Depot.

Keep in mind that the GoCary Live app will become available this fall, allowing you to plan your trips, track your bus in real-time, and receive the latest service alerts.  Stay tuned for a release date.
